Analyzing the impact of new media, especially social media, on both small and big businesses, to see how practices have changed since the days of old media. Tailoring a company actions to garner and generate revenue through social media, and even how disregarding this important aspect will do a company harm is something that will be covered. Hyper sensitivity and awareness to public opinions and their impact on business will be researched through surveying small business owners as well as seeing headlining news, like the more recent Nike campaign. Finding data to see increases in marketing as well as general presence in social media will all be looked at for this topic.
